Whew, where to start?! This album has been 2+ years in the making. All of the buzz words apply here: blood, sweat, tears, roll up your sleeves, you name it. The journey is often something romanticized with the final destination looming at the end. For me, the entirety of this album has blossomed into something I truly could not have dreamed of. So many amazing memories in the studio, listening to unfinished songs with loved ones, and just watching the evolution of this record has been a surreal reminder of the original beautiful concept. While this is The Makers Out’s first LP, this is actually my third album in life. It’s commonly the album where artists get the most creative and challenge the most traditional concepts to reveal the colors beneath the glitz and glam. I am proud of Bloodlines/Hope and want to thank everyone involved in helping me realize this dream.
