The grand opening of Silver Seed, a thought-provoking new art installation, drew an enthusiastic crowd for an immersive evening of art and music. In celebration of the debut, The Makers Out delivered a rare live performance of their debut LP, Bloodlines/Hope, presented in collaboration with Guthrie Green and Dreamspace Lab. The event was further enriched by captivating performances from Lincka (OKC) and The Links, creating an unforgettable night that highlighted both visual and musical artistry.
A SURREAL PUBLIC ART EXPERIENCE:
This coordinated effort was designed to amplify the role of art, music, and experiential installations in public spaces, especially in communities not typically recognized for such artistic initiatives. The creators of Silver Seed, along with partners Guthrie Green and Dreamspace Lab, envisioned this event as a way to transform the conventional experience of public art. By incorporating live performances from artists like The Makers Out, Linkca, and The Links, the grand opening offered a unique fusion of visual and auditory storytelling that invited attendees to engage deeply with the space. This blend of art forms not only celebrated local talent but also aimed to foster a stronger cultural identity within the community, encouraging a shared appreciation for the power of immersive, accessible art.
An unforgettable experience:
